Look through portraits of Renoir, Sargent, Rembrandt. Do you see lots of smiling faces? Would you rather see the Mona Lisa with a toothy smile?
Natural smiles will be photographed in Eliot Khuner's studio, but the expression that you can look at a million times will probably be the more serious and introspective one.
